RE 06-28-94.3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. 062894.3 WHEREAS, the Exchange Club is a non-profit organization; and WHEREAS, they routinely organize the Fourth of July Parade in Coppell; and WHEREAS, the volunteer work and non-profit status of the Exchange Club warrants special consideration by the Coppell City Council to waive applicable fees; and WHEREAS,.this year's Fourth of July Parade will require five (5) additional Police officers at a cost not to exceed $375; and WHEREAS, the Parade will begin at Austin Elementary and end with a cookout at Andy Brown Park; and WHEREAS, profits generated by the weekend event will be used in the interest of citizens and children of Coppell. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS: 1. That applicable fees, Police Officers' Overtime, and banner add sign requirements be waived; however, the following requirements will not be waived: a. Inspections r~garding health concerns, food sales (sources, sto~age and preparation), and all health code requirements. b. Dumpsters, temporary sanitation facilities, provisions for removal of animal waste, etc. c. Evidence of adequate parking and traffic control. d. Fire safety and all fire code requirements. e. ~ergency aid provisions. f. All electrical code reqllirements. g. Other provisions that may relate to the safety and welfare of the citizens.
