CM 2005-01-18MINUTES OF JANUARY 18~ 2005 The City Council of the City of Coppell met in Joint Special Called Session with the Board of Trustees of the Coppell Independent School District on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at 7:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers of Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. The following members were present: Doug Stover, Mayor Tim Brancheau, Councilmember Jayne Peters, Councilmember Marsha Tunnell, Councilmember Billy Faught, Councilmember Thom Suhy, Councilmember Bill York, Councilmember Kathie Gautille, President Cindy L. Warner, Vice-President Bennett Ratliff, Assistant Secretary Dr. Mike Arthur Susie Kemp Allen Mushinski Scott Orr Mayor Pro Tem Raines was absent from the meeting. Also present were City Manager Jim Witt, City Attorney Robert Hager, School Superintendent Dr. Jeff Turner, School Trustee Attorneys H. Louis Nichols, Mike Coker and George Schrader. ITEM # ITEM DESCRIPTION REGULAR SESSION 1. {Open to the Public} Call to Order of the City Council and the Board of Trustees. Mayor Stover called the meeting to order, determined that a quorum was present and convened into Executive Session. EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES {Closed to the Public} Convene Joint Executive Session of City Council of the City of Coppell and Board of Trustees of the Coppell Independent School District CMO 11805 Page 1 of 2 Section 551.071, Texas Government Code - Consultation with City Attorney and School Board Special Legal Counsel. 1. Concerning the City of Coppell and Coppell Independent School District opposition to a change of zoning request of the Billingsley Corporation in the City of Dallas, Zoning Case Number Z045-107. Mayor Stover convened into Executive Session at 7:02 a.m. as allowed under the above-stated article. Councilmember Tunnell adjourned the Executive Session at 8:45 a.m. Mayor Doug Stover and Councilmember Suhy left the meeting during the Executive Session.
