RE 07-28-80 RESOLUTION NO. 072880
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, PROCLAIMING
AUGUST 1-7, 1980 AS NATIONAL CLOWN WEEK.
WHEREAS, clowns bring joy and mirth to children of all ages
and thus relieve tension and stress in daily living, and
WHEREAS, clowns contribute many hours of civic and charity
service to the community to provide entertainment and cheer, and
WHEREAS, the President of the United States and the current
Congress have designated the first week of August as NATIONAL CLOWN
WEEK,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Coppell, Texas proclaims the week
of August 1 thru 7, 1980 NATIONAL CLOWN WEEK.
