RE 09-11-79.2 RESOLUTION NO. 091179.2
WHEREAS, the Ci~ of Coppell purchases treated water from the Ci~
of Dallas,
WHEREAS, the cost of this water has been a subject of great debate
and litigation for the past several years, and
WHEREAS, the Ci~ of Dallas through the efforts of Tom Taylor and
Dr. Camille Cates have formulated a compromise agreement for resolution of
the rate controversy, and
WHEREAS, the proposed settlement is a very positive long term
solution to establishing water rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COPPELL, TEXAS:
That the Ci~ of Coppell goes on record in support of the memo-
randum of agreement dated August 7, 1979, and ratifies the agreement as
previously executed by the Ci~ Administrator.
