RE 02-27-79 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS
RESOLUTION NO. 022779
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
TO SUBMIT AND SIGN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS CRIMINAL JUSTICE COUNCIL FOR
PROJECT GRANT ASSISTANCE, AS PROVIDED FOR UNDER PUBLIC LAW 90-351;
WHEREAS, The Ominibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of
1968, Public Law 90-351, as amended authorizing the Texas Criminal Justice
Council, to award grants to local Governments to assist them in improving
their General Law Enforcement capabilites; and
WHEREAS, The City of Coppell Officials have determined that the
City should make individual applications to the Texas Criminal Justice
Council for fiscal year 1979-1980 Grant fund to support the following
projects;
MULTI-CHANNEL TAPE LOGING RECORDING SYSTEM and;
WHEREAS, The Texas Criminal Justice Council requires a Resolution
adopted by the Coppell City Council authorizing the submission and designating
the signatory of said application for Grant funds, in accordance with policy
guidance and instruction established by the Councils Executive Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL BY THE CITY OF
COPPELL, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas,
hereby authorize the Mayor of the City of Coppell, Texas to sign and submit
said application to the Texas Criminal Justice Council.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of Coppell Texas is authorized
to handle all Administrative matters related to said application.
