CM 1989-07-11The City Council of the City of Coppell mst in regular called session on Tuesday, July I1, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. in tim Council Chambers of the Coppell Town Center. Prior to the scheduled meeting time, it was determined that the followin8 Council members would be in attendance. Hark Wolfe, ~ayor David H. Thomas, Councilman Ton Herren, Councilman Jim Co, man, Councilman Eon Roberteon, Councilman it was, ales determined that Hayer Pro Tern Dean Wilharoon and Councilman Bill Smothermon and John Nelson vould not be in attendance; therefore, Hayer Wolfe declared that a quorum, as defined under Section 3. l0 of the City of Coppell HoBo Rule Charter, did not exint and cancelled the msetin8 and rescheduled it for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 1989. City Eu$inae~ Russell Doyle was present in Council Chambers from 7:00 p.m. to 8:18 p.m. to inform citizens who appeared for the meetin$ of the echeduled change and to obtain names, addresses, and telephone v-uher8 of those pereone who had arrived to speak concernins advertieed zoninS items on the agenda. A copy of the eight (8) individuals, alon~ with their initialed signatures of notification of the change of meeting date, who were present to attend the July 11, 1989 City Council meeting are attached as a permanent part of these minutes. Those zoning dream that were reecheduled are Item No. 9 (ZoninS Case ~ZC-$20 on request of 5oyce-Hayer8 Enterprises) and Item No. 11 (Zoning Case ~ZC-1044 on request of Haffco Conetroction). Additionally, applicants for consideration of a preliminary plat (Item No. 10 - Joyce-Hayere Enterprises) and for consideration of a final plat (Item No. 12 - Centex Real Estate Corporation) were contacted via telephone and orated that they were willins to withdraw request for consideration of these plate until the reecheduled Council msetinS of July 18, 1989.
