CM 1987-10-24 Minutes of October 24, 1987
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in special called session on
Saturday, October 24, 1987 at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Conference
Chambers of the Coppell Town Center. The following members were
present:
Lou Duggan, Mayor
Dan Stanton, Mayor Pro Tem
Dean Wilkerson, Councilman
Walter Pettijohn, Councilman
Tom Morton, Councilman
Bill Smothermon, Councilman
Jim Cowman, Councilman
Mark Wolfe, Councilman
Also present were City Manager Alan D. Ratliff, City Secretary Dorothy
Timmons, City Attorney representative Bruce Stockard, Finance Director
Frank Trando, and City Engineers Wayne Ginn and Kevin Peiffer.
Mayor Duggan called the meeting to order.
WORK SESSION
Item 1: Discussion on CIP Projects and Capital Funds.
City Manager Alan Ratliff and Finance Director Frank Trando reviewed the
bond project and reconciliation of bond funds from the 1984 bond
program. City Engineer Wayne Ginn provided a status report on the
various CIP projects currently under construction.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (Closed to the Public)
Item 2A: Article 6252-17, Section 2 (e) discussion with City Attorney.
1. Discussion concerning possible litigation
A. Update on lawsuits
B: Article 6252-17, Section 2 (g) discussion concerning
personnel.
I. City Manager Performance Evaluation and Council relations.
Mayor Duggan then declared the meeting closed on October 24, 1987 at
10:07 a.m. for an executive session as allowed under the above rscitsd
articles. Following the executive session, Mayor Duggan adjourned the
executive session on October 24, 1987 at 12:05 p.m.
The meeting was then declared open to the public. There being no
further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was
adjourned.
