he City Council of the City of Coppell met in a special called work
session on Friday, August 12, 1988 at 8:00 a.m. in the Rotary Room of
the TOM Center, 255 Par~ay Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. he roll.lng

Mayor Duggan called the meetinE to order.
Item 1: Work session on the 1988-89 Fiscal Budget
A work session was held on the proposed 1988-89 fiscal budget. ~rther
discussion and revisw of the 1988-89 fiscal budget is scheduled for
Monday, August 22, 1988.
Item 2: Presentation of Water and Sewer Rate Study by KPMG Peat
La. ante Shaw, Senior ~nager with KPMG Peat Ma~ick ~ds the
presentation to the Council. Following the presentation and discussion
Council~n Smothe~on moved to approve the final report dated August,
1988 of the Water a~ Sewer Rate Study presented by KPMG Psat ~ick,
Certified ~bllc ~countants. Councilman Morton seconded the motion;
motion carried 7-0 ~th ~yor Pro Tam Wilkerson, Councilman PettiJohn,
Morton, Smothe~on, Co.man, Wolfe and Nelson votin~ in favor of the
~tion,
EXECUTIVE SESSION (Closed to the public)
Item 3: Article 6252-17, Section 2 ($) discussion concern~g personnel.
A. Discussion concerning C~pensation Plan.
Mayor Duggan declared the public session closed on Friday, Au~st 12,
1988 for an Execut~e Session as allowed under the able recited
articls, he Council convened ~to ~ecut~s Session at 2:00 p.m.
~yor Duggan adjourned the ~ecut~e Session at 2:30 p.m. on Friday,
August 12, 1988.
