CM 1988-08-22 Minutes of August 22, 1988
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in a special called work
session on Monday, August 22, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Coppell To~ra
Center, Executive Conference Room. The following members were
present:
Lou Duggan, Mayor
Dean Wilkerson, Mayor Pro Tem
Walter PettiJohn, Councilman
Tom Morton, Councilman
Bill Smothermon, Councilman
Jim Cowman, Councilman (late arrival)
John A. Nelson, Councilman
Also present were City Manager Alan D. Ratliff, City Attorney Larry
Jackson, Assistant City Manager/Personnel Director Vivyon V. Bowman,
Accountant A~y Crowley, Assistant Finance Director Alan Johnson,
and the Director of Finance Frank Trando.
Mayor Duggan called the meeting to order and stated that Councilman
Wolfe and Council~u Co~man were not present.
Councilman Co~man arrived at 8:15 p.m.
Item 1: Work session on the 1988-89 Fiscal Budget.
Frank Trando, Finance Director made the presentation to the Council.
A work session was held on the proposed 1988-89 fiscal budget. A date
for further discussion and review of the budget will be scheduled at
the regular City Council meeting of August 23, 1988.
There being no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned.
