BM 2007-01-08 PB PARKS AND RECREATION/CRDC/TREE BOARD MINUTES OF MEETING January 8, 2007 Meeting Time:6:30 p.m. Meeting Place: Coppell Road Service Center 816 S. Coppell Road Coppell, Texas 75019 Members Present:Victor H. Burke, Mark Tepper, Greg Garcia, Mike Ridgley, Jack Clark, Brent Holdridge, Craig Pritzlaff, Greg Toth, and Devin Bailey Staff Present:Brad Reid, Guy McLain, Jane Anne Sellars, and Cecilia Gandara AGENDA Item 1:Call the Meeting to Order -Mr. Victor H. Burke called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Item 2:Citizens’ Forum -No Citizen’s present. COPPELL RECREATION DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION Item 3:Consider approval of minutes from December 4, 2006 -Mr. Greg Garcia moved to approve the minutes from December 4, 2006. Mr. Mike Ridgley seconded the motion. Vote: (5–0), approved Item 4:Presentation from the North Central Texas Council of Governments regarding the role of Coppell in the North Texas Region al Plan for Natural Resources. -Mr. Jack Tidwell of NCTCOG gave the presentation. PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD ITEMS Item 5:Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update. -Mr. Brad Reid informed the board that a consultant from GreenPlay will attend the next months meeting to discuss the priorities of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Item 6:Director’s Report. -Senior Center Project Update -Architects are working on the floor plans. -Nature Park Update -Council to consider resolution. -Special Events -Sweetheart Ball February 10 and 11 -Project update -Wagon Wheel Parking lot is all most completed. -Bids have been received and will be reviewed for the Town Center Plaza. Item 7:Chair Report -Future Agenda Items -GreenPlay consultant will attend next meeting. -Adopt A Location dates are tentatively scheduled for January 13, April 21, August 11, December 8. Item 8:Adjourn -Mr. Mark Tepper moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Jack Clark seconded the motion.
