CM 1983-10-27 Minutes of October 27, 1983
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in special called session on
Thursday, October 27, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. in the Coppell Middle School
Cafeteria.
The following members were present:
Andrew Brown, Jr., Mayor
Orville Mayo, Mayor Pro Tem
Bunny Thompson, Councilman
Lou Duggan, Councilman
Councilman Dale Ware and Councilman Glen White were not present. Also
present was City Manager Ron Ragland.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Andrew Brown.
ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of a resolution joining with the cities of
Farmers Branch, Addison and Flower Mound to appoint a member to the Board of
the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
Following discussion on the approval of a resolution to join with the Cities
of Farmers Branch, Addison and Flower Mound to appoint a member to the DART
Board, Mayor Pro Tem Mayo moved that Resolution No. 102783.1 be approved;
Councilman Thompson seconded and motion carried 3-0.
ITEM NO. 2: Consider approval of a resolution appointing C. J. Webster as
the City's representative to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Board.
Following discussion on the appointment of the member to the DART Board,
Mayor Pro Tem Mayo moved that Resolution No. 102783.2 appointing Mr. C. J.
Webster as the City's representative on the DART Board be approved; Councilman
Thompson seconded and motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was then adjourned.
