CM 1984-03-06 Minutes of March 6, 1984
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in special called session on Tuesday,
March 6, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. in the First Security Bank and Trust Boardroom.
The following members were present: ~-~
Andrew Brown, Jr., Mayor
Orville Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem
Dale Ware, Councilman
Bunny Thompson, Councilman
Lou Duggan, Councilman
Councilman Glen White was not present. Also present was City Manager Ron Ragland.
The meeting was called to order and immediately went into executive session allowed
under Article 6252-17, Section 2 (e) discussion with City Attorney and Article 6252-17,
Section 2 (g) discussion concerning personnel.
Following the executive session, the meeting was opened to the public. Councilman
Thompson moved that the city manager be authorized to enter into a contract for
the purchase of a one-acre site on Moore Road to be used for a fire station
location; Mayor Pro Tem Mayo seconded and motion carried 4-0. The meeting was then
adjourned.
