Minutes
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in special called session at
6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Irving, Texas.
~he following members were present:
Andrew Brown, Jr., Mayor (Late Arrival)
David Phillips, Mayor Pro Tem
Walter~Pettijohn, Councilman
Orville Mayo, Councilman
Glen White, Councilman
Dale Ware, Councilman
Al§o present were City Administrator Jim Elium, City Secretary Dorothy
Timmons, Troy Glidewell, Building Inspector, Jerry Manning, Street Super-
intendent, Jack White, Water Superintendent.
Mayor Pro Tem Phillips called the meeting to order.
The first item to be considered was a request by Peggy and Dale Wells for
a temporary mobile home permit for 5 .ears. This item was tabled from a
0 previous meeting. Following discussi~n, Councilman Mayo moved that the
LO request be denied; Councilman White seconded and motion carried 3-1-1
with Mayor Pro Tem Phillips and Councilmen Mayo and White in favor of
motion and Councilman Pettijohn against with Councilman Ware abstaining.
The next item on the agenda was appointment to the Planning and Zoning
Commission. Following discussion, Councilman Mayo moved that Gary Adams
be appointed; Councilman White seconded and motion carried 5-0.
The next item was a work session on the proposed 1981-82 budget. Mayor
Brown arrived during the work session.
The meeting was then adjourned.
