The City C~uncil of the City of Coppell met~p special called session on
September 29, 1981, at 7:30 p.m., a~ ~he C6ppell City Hall.
The following members were present:
Andrew Brown, Jr., Mayor
David Phillips, Mayor Pro Tem
Orville Mayo, Councilman
Dale Ware, Councilman
Glen White, Councilman
Councilman Walter Pettijohn was not present. Also present was City Admini-
strator Jim Elium.
ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of a resolution reaffirming the method of
election for electing representatives to the Dallas County
Appraisal District Board
Councilman Dale Ware moved that the resolution reaffirming the method of
election for electing representatives to the Dallas County Appraisal District
Board be approved; Councilman Glen White seconded and motion carried 4-0.
ITEM NO. 2: Consider approval of a resolution reaffirming the method of allocating costs for the Dallas County Appraisal District
Councilman Glen White moved that the resolution reaffirming the method of
allocating costs for the Dallas County Appraisal District be approved;
Mayor Pro Tem Phillips seconded and motion carried 4-0.
ITEM NO. 3: Consider taking action in the form of purchasing an ambulance
under emergency provisions created by the damage to the City's
present ambulance which has put same out of service
Following discussion, Councilman Dale Ware moved that the purchasing of a new
ambulance for $34,800, the equipment for $5,000, and a thumper for $4,700
under emergency provisions be approved; Councilman Glen White seconded and mo~ion
carried 4-0.
Following further discussion, Councilman Dale Ware moved that Superio~ South-
west also recondition the existing ambulance for the amount of $2,493.00;
Councilman Glen White seconded and motion carried 4-0.
The meeting was then adjourned.
