CM 1986-08-23 Minutes of Budget Retreat 1986 - 1987
The City Council of the City of Coppell met in a special called session
for a Budget WorkshOp on Thursday, August 21, 1986 through Saturday,
August 23, 1986 at Rayburn Country Club, Sam Rayburn, Texas. The
following members were present:
Lou Duggan, Mayor
Dale Ware, Mayor Pro Tem
Dean Wilkerson, Councilman
Tom Morton, Councilman
Bill Smothermon, Councilman
Jim Cowman, Councilman
Mark Wolfe, Councilman
Dan Stanton, Councilman
Also present were Acting City Manager Frank Trando and City Secretary
Dorothy Timmons. Additional persons present were all Department Heads,
representatives J. T. Dunkin and Dan Sefco from J. T. Dunkin &
Associates, Consulting Engineer Wayne Ginn from Ginn Incorporated, Mr.
Boyd London from First Southwest, Mr. Paul Phy and Mr. Dick Pierce
representative of Coppell Municipal Utility District.
Mayor Duggan then called the Budget Work Session to order. Information
was then presented by each of the City consultants present and was
followed by the work session on the proposed budget. A complete
recording of the budget hearing is filed as a permanent part of the City
records.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August
23, 1986.
