The City Council of the City of Coppell met in special called session
on Tuesday, December 17, 1991 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers of Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. The
following members were present:
Mark Wolfe, Mayor
Bill Smothermon, Mayor Pro Tem
Peyton Weaver, Councilman
David Thomas, Councilman
Tom Morton, Councilman
Jim Cowman, Councilman
Ron Robertson, Councilman
John Nelson, Councilman
Also present were City Manager Alan D. Ratliff, City Secretary Dorothy
Timmons, and City Attorney Lawrence W. Jackson.

Item 1 Call to order
Mayor Wolfe called the meeting to order.

Council dispensed with the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
EXECUTIVE SESSION (Closed to the Public)
Item 4-ES A. Article 6252-17, Section 2(f), discussion
concerning personal.
1. Grapevine Creek Right of Way Sanitary Sewer
Trunk Main Project
The City Council convened into Executive Session at 5:03 p.m. on
Tuesday, December 17, 1991 as allowed under the above stated article.
Mayor Wolfe adjourned the Executive Session and opened the Special
Called Session at 5:32 p.m.
REGULAR SESSION (Open to the Public)
Item 5: Discussion and consideration of entering into an agreement
for consulting services to acquire easements on property
affected by the Grapevine Creek Sanitary Sewer Line Project
and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
Councilman Weaver moved to negotiate a contract for consulting
services to acquire easements on property affected by the Grapevine
Creek Sanitary Sewer Line Project with George B. Schrader. Funds are
to come from Contingency Funds from bonds, and Mr. Schrader is
required to provide errors and omissions insurance. Mayor Pro Tem
Smothermon seconded the motion; motion carried 4-3 with Mayor Pro Tem
Smothermon, Councilmen Weaver, Thomas, and Morton voting in favor of
the motion and Councilmen Comnnan, Robertson and Nelson voting against
the motion.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned.
