CM 1995-11-11 MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 11, 1995 The City Council of the City of Coppell met in Special Called Session on Tuesday, November 11, 1995 at 8:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers of Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. The following members were present: Tom Morton, Mayor Ron Robertson, Mayor Pro Tem Norm Alexander, Councilmember Chuck Sturges, Councilmember Danny L. Watson, Councilmember Marsha Tunnell, Councilmember Candy Sheehan, Councilmember Councilmember Mayo was absent from the meeting. Also present were City Manager Jim Witt and City Secretary Linda Grau. REGULAR SESSION (Open to the Public) 1. Call to order. Mayor Morton called the meeting to order. 2. Consider an Ordinance to canvass results of City of CoppeH Home Rule Charter Amendment Election held November 7, 1995, and authorizing the Mayor to sign. City Secretary Linda Grau read the returns for the record as follows: Proposition 1: 301 votes "for" 25 votes "against" Proposition 2: 282 votes "for" 43 votes "against" Proposition 3: 297 votes "for" 26 votes "against" Proposition 4: 294 votes "for" 27 votes "against" Proposition 5: 290 votes "for" 31 votes "against" Proposition 6: 268 votes "for" 56 votes "against" Proposition 7: 232 votes "for" 88 votes "against" Proposition 8: 250 votes "for" 56 votes "against" Proposition 9: 240 votes "for" 83 votes "against" Proposition 10: 309 votes "for" 13 votes "against" Proposition 11: 226 votes "for" 95 votes "against" Proposition 12: 219 votes "for" 105 votes "against" CMl11195 Page 1 of 2 Proposition 13: 208 votes "for" 114 votes "against' Proposition 14: 215 votes 'for" 101 votes "against" Proposition 15: 256 votes "for" 64 votes "against" ' Proposition 16: 304 votes 'for" 12 votes "against" Proposition 17: 282 votes "for" 38 votes. "against" Proposition 18: 262 votes 'for" 57 votes "against" Mayor Pro Tem Robertson moved to approve Ordinance No. 95725 canvassing the results of City of Coppell Home Rule Charter Amendment Election held November 7, 1995, and authorizing the Mayor to sign. Councilmember Tunnell seconded the motion; the motion carried 6-0 with Mayor Pro Tem Robertson and Councilmembers Alexander, Sturges, Watson, Tunnell, and Sheehan voting in favor of the motion.
