CM 1996-07-30 MINUTES OF JULY 30, 1996 The City Council of the City of Coppell met in Special Called Session on Tuesday, July 30, 1996 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. The following members were present: Tom Morton, Mayor Lanny Mayo, Mayor Pro Tem Norm Alexander, Councilmember Danny L. Watson, Councilmember Marsha Tunnell, Councilmember Candy Sheehan, Councilmember Councilmembers Sturges and Robertson were absent from the meeting. Also present were Deputy City Manager Clay Phillips, City Secretary Linda Grau and Jason Marshall from the City Attorney's office. REGULAR SESSION (Open to the Public) 1. Call to order. Mayor Morton called the meeting to order. 2. Consider awarding order for furniture for the City of Coppell Justice Center to Texas Department of Criminal Justice in an amount not to exceed $90,000.00. Mayor Pro Tem Mayo moved to approve awarding an order for furniture for the City of Coppell Justice Center to Texas Department of Criminal Justice in an amount not to exceed $90,000.00. Councilmember Tunnell seconded the motion; the motion carried 5-0 with Mayor Pro Tern Mayo and Councilmembers Alexander, Watson, Tunnell, and Sheehan voting in favor of the motion. Mayor Morton adjourned into Work Session. WORK SESSION (Open to the Public) 3. Convene Work Session A. Health, Environmental and Code Enforcement Regulations.
