RE 01-11-77 RES 0 L UTI 0 N WHEREAS, on February 11, 1975, the City Council of the City of Cbppell did appoint a Bicentennial Commission for coordination of Bicentennial Activities in the city; and I WHEREAS, Mrs. Theresa Eby served the Commission as Historian for that two year period; and WHEREAS, she prepared and documented the activities in a book presented to the city as a permanent record of this city's celebration of the American Bicentennial; and WHEREAS, she did devote many hours of her time and energies to the Commission for the benefit and pleasure of the Citizens of Coppell; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS hereby expresses to Theresa Eby, on behalf of the Citizens of Coppell, their gratitude and praise for the exceptionally fine accomplishments that resulted from t her efforts; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be placed in the permanent records of the Bicentennial Activities of the City of Coppell. Broc uncilman I t I RES 0 L UTI 0 N WHEREAS, on February 11, 1975, the City Council of the City of Coppell , did appoint a Bicentennial Commission for the Coordination of Bicentennial Activities in the city; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Barbara Austin was appointed Coordinator of the Commission Activities; and WHEREAS, she served the community in that capacity until July 1976; and WHEREAS, she dedicated her time, talent and efforts toward many meaningful activities for the citizens of Coppell during the American Bicentennial period;' and WHEREAS, she has continued to serve her community in numerous ways, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS hereby expresses to Barbara Austin, on behalf of the citizens of Coppell, their appreciation and praise for her fine efforts and accomplishments as Coordinator of the Coppell Bicentennial Commission, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be placed in the permanent records of the Bicentennial Activities of the City of Coppell.
