Item 1: Call the Meeting to Order
- Mr. Greg Garcia called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Item 2: Citizens’ Forum
- No citizens present.
COPPELL RECREATION DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Item 3: Consider approval of minutes from March 5, 2007, meeting.
-Mr. Mark Tepper moved to approve the minutes from March 5, 2007.
Mr. Jack Clark seconded the motion.
Vote: (5–0), approved
PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD ITEMS
Item 4: Presentation and Discussion regarding the possibility of Cricket in Coppell
-Members of the North Texas Cricket Association presented a power point
presentation.
-The presentation consisted of the history of the Cricket sport and the
benefits of the sport for the Coppell youth.
Item 5: Presentation of proposed site plan and floor plan of the New Senior Center.
-Mr. Brad Reid presented the board with the proposed site plan and floor
plan for the New Senior Center.
Item 6: Presentation of the site plan for the Town Center Plaza currently under
construction
- Mr. Brad Reid presented the board with the site plan for the Town Center
Plaza and discussed the possible uses of the area.
Item 7: Director’s Report
-Special Events
- Egg Hunt on April 7, 2007
-Clean Coppell on April 21, 2007
-Project Update
-Senior Center plans are progressing.
-East Sandy Lake Rd. right of ways project to begin soon.
Item 8: Chair Report
-No Future Agenda Items.
-Next Adopt a Location pick up is scheduled for April 21.
Item 9: Adjourn
-Mr. Mark Tepper motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 PM; Mr. David
Castillo seconded the motion.
Vote: (5-0), Approved
