LISD 2009/12/11December 11, 2009 Attachment T H E • C 1 T Y • O F COFFELL MEMORANDUM TO: Jennifer Miller, Director of Finance FROM: Clay Phillips, City Manager Cc SUBJECT: Lewisville Independent School District At the October 8 Coppell Education Development Corporation meeting, the board directed staff to prepare an agenda item that would adjust the threshold for remaining revenue to be distributed to the school(s) from $1,000 to $10,000 and eliminate the need for the school to come before the board for a grant in this amount. The agenda item was prepared and approved at the November 8 CEDC meeting. The schools were notified of the change to the grant allocation process and informed that requests should be in line with a previously approved grant and receipts for all associated expenditures would be required. Lewisville Independent School District has submitted a request for all remaining allocated carryover funds, not to exceed $10,000 to be applied to the funding of graphing calculators and accessories supporting career technology and to the funding of books supporting literacy. This memo will serve as approval to release the requested allocated funds for Lewisville Independent School District. t?
