SUBJECT: Applications and Enrollment
All the school districts now have in -hand the copy of the grant application for CEDC
funds. We received, this morning, the last of the enrollment figures for the three school
districts. Based on those numbers, the following percentages shall apply. The total
number of Coppell students attending all 3 districts is 8,966. Out of these students,
C/FBISD has 363 students at .0405, Lewisville ISD with. 25 students at .0028 and CISD
at .9567. Based on these percentages and assuming $1.5 million would be collected, the
following distribution would occur:
CISD - $1,435,050.00
CIFBISD - $60,750.00
LISD - $4,200.00
Total - $1,500,000.00

SUBJECT: 2002 Annual Board/Commission/Committee Appointments
Attached you will find a current membership list for your particular Board,
Commission and / or Committee indicating members whose term of office will
expire in October 2002 (or any existing vacancies which expire in 2003). As
Staff Liaison, please notify your present members, whose terms will expire
October 2002, and advise them that it will be necessary to submit a new
application form with the City Secretary Department if they wish to re-
apply for their present position or i f they are interested in applying for a
position on another Board, Commission or Committee. Application forms
for those members are attached for distribution.
Applications will be accepted 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday, June 3,
2002 through Wednesday, July 31, 2002. Additional copies of application
forms will be available in the City Secretary Department. APPLICATIONS ON
FILE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
In addition, it is imperative that you advise me, as soon as possible, if any
current members, whose term does not expire this year, will be resigning before
October 1 so a new member can be appointed to fill the unexpired term.
