Sheet were made by Alan Ratliff and the Board members.

Item 6: Review and Discussion of Major Projects:
Videg Production - Richard Johnson presented the Board
with the final script for the new Coppell video. The
Board discussed the possibility of using a portion of the
funds available from the utility funds, as needed, to
bring about the completion of the video. Expenses
anticipated for completion include studio and production
time, editing, music, a professional voice, etc. The
Board recommended that Richard Johnson proceed with the
finalization of the video production.
City ego - Richard Johnson reported that approximately
45 logos have been reviewed, and both the designers and
committee members have come to an agreement on the one
logo they feel is most representative of the people of
Coppell. Mr. Johnson stated that the graphic standards
manual will show exactly how the new logo will be adopted
for City use. Lee Richardson suggested that we give the
logo to City Staff so they can begin estimating the total
cost of incorporating the new logo on City vehicles,
letterhead, etc., so that we can have a complete package
for City Council presentation. Richard Johnson made a
motion that the Board approve the spending of expenses,
not to exceed $500, to research and file the proposed logo
as a trademark. Angelo Vaccaro seconded the motion. All
members voting in favor, the motion carried. Alan Ratliff
will put the new logo presentation on the May 8 City
Council agenda.
