BM 1986-08-11 PZ EMERG CALLED WORK SESSIONMinutes of August 11, 1986
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell met in an
emergency called work session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 1986 in
the Board Room of the 1st Coppell Bank. The following members were
present:
Chairman Ray Smedul
Commissioner Frank Pope
Commissioner Steve Eberhardt
Commissioner Perry Jasiecki
Commissioner Joe Munsch
Also present were Administrative Assistant Vivyon Bowman, Economic and
Development Members John Bailey and Peyton Weaver, and Secretary Linda
Glidewell.
Mr. J.T. Dunkin, Mr. Fred Morris and Mr. Dan Sefko all of J.T. Dunkin
and Associates were also present to make the presentation to the
Commission.
Item 1: To consider and discuss the proposed Comprehensive Master Plan
with consultants J.T. Dunkin and Associates.
Chairman Smedul opened the meeting with a brief introduction
of the regular members and asked John Bailey and Peyton Weaver
to introduce themselves. Mr. Bailey and Mr. Weaver explained
they were members of the Business and Economic Development
Board and were here to study the plans and give any advice or
input they might have as far as the Business and Economic
Development Board is concerned.
Dan Sefko with J.T. Dunkin and Associates made the
presentation to the Commission. He began with the proposed
thoroughfare plan. Following discussion, he presented a
Future Land Use Map for the City of Coppell.
Following discussion, Chairman Smedul stated that the
Commission will meet the next two Monday nights and then will
meet in regular session on Thursday, August 28, 1986.
The meeting was then adjourned.
