DUNKIN & ASSOCIATES INC. urban planning / landscape ardhitecture July 14, 1986 Planning and Zoning Commission Members City of Coppell Coppell, Texas 76086 Dear Commission Members: On July 28 we will have our first work session on the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Coppell. At this meeting, we will present our preliminary findings for existing land use, zoning and physical factors influencing development. The purpose of the meeting will be to engage in dialogue regarding issues concerning the Community after our pre- sentation. The Planning and Zoning Commission should be prepared to discuss planning and zoning matters and other related issues in general terms so that we may begin to address them in the Comprehensive Plan. These issues should be ones that may have evolved over the last couple of years that you have observed while reviewing zoning requests or maybe some type of land use condition you have noticed in the City. The issues can be anything associated with planning and zoning, as well as thoroughfare circulation. If you have a number of ideas or issues, please write them down so we can have a record of them. This type of "round table" discussion enables us to develop a Comprehensive Plan which meets the City's needs. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
