BM 1985-04-18 PZMINUTES OF APRIL 18, 1985 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell met in regular session on April 18, 1985, at 7:30 p.m. in the Coppell High School Administration Building. The following members were present: Geren Burton, Co -Chairman Joe Munsch, Commissioner Gary Adams, Commissioner Chairman R. W. Smedul and Commissioner Frank Pope were not present. Also present were Administrative Assistant Mark Sweeney and Secretary Anne McDowell. The meeting was called to order by Co -Chairman Burton and everyone asked to stand while Commissioner Adams gave the invocation. ITEM NO. 3: APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Adams moved that the minutes be approved as submitted; Commissioner Munsch seconded and motion carried 3-0. ITEM NO. 4: CONSIDER THE APPROVAL OF THE FINAL PLAT OF WATERSIDE ESTATES PHASE I Mr. Lynn Kadlek with Triland made the presentation. Following the presentation and discussion concerning sanitary sewer lines, Commissioner Munsch moved that this final plat be recommended for approval with the stipulation that the sewer line be resolved prior to final consideration by the City Council; Commissioner Adams seconded and motion carried 3-0. ITEM NO. 5: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE FINAL PLAT OF FREEPORT PARKWAY Mr. Lynn Kadlek with Triland made the presentation. Following discussion, Commissioner Munsch moved that the final plat be recommended for approval; Commissioner Adams seconded and motion carried 3-0. ITEM NO. 5B: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF FINAL PLAT OF COPPELL BANK N.A. Following discussion, Commissioner Adams moved that the final plat be recommended for approval; Commissioner Munsch seconded and motior_ carried 5-0. ITEM NO. 6: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF GULF OIL PRODUCTS ITEM NO. 7: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A ZONING CHANGAE FROM "C" COMMERCIAL TO "C" COMMERCIAL WITH A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT BY GULF OIL PRODUCTS It was the consensus of the Planning and Zoning Commission that both these items be tabled until the May 16 meeting. ITEM NO. 8: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A ZONING CHANGE FROM "SF -12', SINGLE FAMILY TO "SF -0", SINGLE FAMILY ZERO -LOT LINE BY O. M. SINGLA REPRESENTED BY DALE RABE. Following presentation by the applicant, Co -Chairman Burton opened the public hearing and asked for those people who wished to speak for the change. Those people speaking were Martha Jo Cosby and Duane McClurg. He then asked for those people who wished to speak against the change. There were none. The public hearing was declared closed. Following discussion, Commissioner Munsch moved that this zoning change be recommended for denial; Commissioner Adams seconded and motion carried 3-0. The meeting was then adjourned.
