Planning and Zoning Commission
Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Coppell will meet in pre -session at 6:45 p.m., and in regular session
at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 16, 1989, in the Coppell Town Center, 255
Parkway Boulevard. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the
following items:

Item l: Briefing on the Agenda, and discussion of possible future items.

Item 2: Call to Order.
Item 3: Invocation.
Item 4: Approval of minutes of February 16, 1989.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Item 5: Public Hearing to consider approval of a zoning change, Case
#PD -108, from PD Recreation Center, to (PD -LI) Planned
Development Light Industrial, for the development of
institutional, office, retail, commercial and light industrial
facilities, located on the west side of Denton Tap Road, on the
north side of the Cottonbelt Railroad, on the south side of
Bethel Road, and along the east side of Coppell Road, with the
southern line being approximately 3,500 feet along the
Cottonbelt Railroad, at the request of Centre Development.
Item 6: Public Hearing to consider approval of a zoning change, Case
#S-1041, from (LI) Light Industrial to (LI -SUP) Light Industrial
Special use Permit, for the construction of an electric
switching station, on a 3.407 acre site located on the northwest
corner of Thweatt Road and Coppell Road, at the request of TU
Electric.
Item 7: Public Hearing to consider approval of a zoning change, Case
#ZC-519, from (PD -Retail) to (SF -9) Single Family -9, for the
development of residential lots on a 2.50 acre site, located
near the northwest corner of the intersection of Bethel School
Road and Plantation Drive, at the request of Centex Development.
PLATTING
Item 8: To consider approval of a preliminary plat for the Springs of
Coppell Addition, located on the west side of Denton Tap Road,
on the north side of the Cottonbelt Railroad, on the south side
of Bethel Road, and along the east side of Coppell Road, with
the southern line being approximately 3,500 feet along the
Cottonbelt Railroad, at the request of Centre Development.
Item 9: To consider approval of a preliminary plat for the Coppell
Switching Station, on a 3.407 acre site located on the northwest
corner of Thweatt Road and Coppell Road, at the request of TU
Electric.
Item 10: To consider approval of a preliminary plat for Shadowridge
Estates, 4th Increment, on a 2.50 acre site, located near the
northwest corner of the intersection of Bethel School Road and
Plantation Drive, at the request of Centex Development.
Item 11: To consider approval of a final plat for the Northlake
Woodlands East #12 Addition, at the request of Judy Troth
Parsons.
