BA 1986-10-16 PZNOTICE OF MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will meet in Pre -Agenda Session at 7:00 p.m. and Regular Session at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 1986 in the Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas 75019. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following items: AGENDA PRE -SESSION 7:00 p.m. (Open to the Public) Item 1: Briefing on agenda REGULAR SESSION 7:30 p.m. (Open to the Public) Item 2: Call to Order Item 3: Invocation PLATTING Item 4: Plat Application 486-09-17 To consider approval of a final plat for Children's World Day Care Center on property located on the east side of Moore Road approximately 500 feet north of Sandy Lake Road. ZONING AND SIGN VARIANCES Item 5: Zoning Application #86-08-25 - PUBLIC HEARING To consider a zoning change request of Lucille Young for the Petitioning Homeowners, for a portion of the Stringfellow Addition, which includes Block A, Lots 1-12; from "SF -12" Single Family -12, to "C" Commercial. Item 6: Zoning Application #86-09-23.3 - PUBLIC HEARING To consider a zoning change request of The Southland Corporation, by Powell and Powell Engineers, from "C" Commercial, to "C.S.U.P." Commercial with a special use permit for a grocery convenience store, on property located on the northwest corner of Sandy Lake Road and Denton Tap Road - the Connell/Skaggs Tract. Item 7: Zoning Application #86-09-23.2 - PUBLIC HEARING To consider a zoning change request of The Southland Corporation, by Powell and Powell Engineers, from "C" Commercial to "C.S.U.P." Commercial with a special use permit for a deli food service restaurant to be located inside of a proposed grocery convenience store, on property located on the northwest corner of Sandy Lake Road and Denton Tap Road - the Connell/Skaggs Tract. Item 8: Zoning Application 486-09-23.1 - PUBLIC HEARING To consider a zoning change request of The Southland Corporation, by Powell and Powell Engineers, from "C" Commercial to "C.S.U.P." Commercial with a special use permit for a gasoline service station in connection with a proposed grocery convenience store, on property located on the northwest corner of Sandy Lake Road and Denton Tap Road - the Connell/Skaggs Tract. Item 9: Zoning Application #86-09-10 - PUBLIC HEARING To consider a sign variance request of Joe Lin/Javatex Corporation, to Section 10-1-1 and Article 10-2 (Any monument sign shall be made from masonry or concrete materials); with the recommendation of a sign variance to Section 10-5-17 (permanent pole signs are specifically prohibited); on property located along the east side of MacArthur Boulevard and approximately 700 feet south of Sandy lake Road. Item 10: To consider approval of an amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Coppell to provide zoning regulations for private clubs, which provide alcoholic beverages to members pursuant to a private club permit issued by the State of Texas.
