The Board would like to be more selective with vendors next year and possibly add a pet booth since so many citizens brought pets to Earthfest. Also, make sure vendors in parking lot are better incorporated. The Caterpillars were a huge hit. Ways to improve are to weed out bad pantyhose prior to event, have educational materials to discuss while people wait, and no pom poms. The Board can also make business card sized “cheat sheets” for vendors with important information on them such as bathroom location, recycling location, etc. Jen Ferguson passed out copies of the City’s Earthfest and Clean Coppell Report to share details and accomplishments of the event. th Item 5: Discussion of July 4 parade participation/activities The Board discussed and decided to promote proper disposal of trash/plastic bottles/aluminum cans at the 3rd of July Fireworks Festivities.
