The Town Council of the Town of Coppell, Texas, convened on
this the 25th day of February, 1959, with the following members
present, to-wit:
R. M. Johnson, Mayor
F. Harwell,
W. H. Plumlee,
C. T. Waters,
J. H. Burns,
C. C. Mitchell,
W. F. Mosley, Secretary
constituting a quorum, when among other proceedings had was the
folloeing:
Mr. W. H. Plumlee subscribed to the constitutional oath of
office.

COUNTY OF DALLAS
I, W. H. Plumlee, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully
execute the duties of the office of Town Alderman of the Town
of Coppell, Texas, and will to the best of my ability preserve,
protect and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States
and of this State; and I further more solemnly swear that I have
not directly nor indirectly paid, offered, or promised to pay,
contributed, nor promised to contribute any money, or valuable
thing, or promised any public office or employment as a reward
for the giving or withholding a vote at the election at which
I was elected. So help me God.

TEXAS
Motion made by Mr. Mitchell, seconded by Mr. Plumlee, to meet
with the Water Board to discuss the building of a Fire House.
Motion made by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Waters to put Street Light
at entrance to Maynard Edition. Approved.
There being no further business to come before the Town Council on
motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
