THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DALLAS
The Town Council of the Town of Coppell, Texas convened on this
12th day of November, 1962 with the following members pesent to wit:
W. T. Cozby Mayor
B. J. Harwell
J. R. McDonald
J. H. Burns
C. T. Waters Aldermen
C. F. Miller Secretary
constituting a quorum, when among other proceedings had was the
following:
Headed by Mr. L. A. Talley, a group of citizens met with the
council to protest the moving of a trailer home into their neighbor-
hood. Action was taken by the council to discourage the planned
move.
Motion was made by Mr. Harwell to issue a permit to Mr. J. E. Rose
to authorize movement of a house into the Coppell Heights Addition.
Motion was seconded by Mr. McDonald and carried by the following vote:
AYES: Harwell,Burns, McDonald, Waters.
NOES: None
Motion was made by Mr. Burns that all trailer houses be
inspected & passed upon by a representative of the Town before
issuance of a permit to move them within the city limits. Motion was
seconded by Mr. McDonald and csrried by the following vote:
AYES: Harwell, Burns, McDonald, Waters.
NOES: None
There being no further business to come before the Town Council
of the Town of Coppell, Texas, on motion duly made, seconded and
carried, the meeting was adjourned.
