At a regular meeting of the City Council of
Coppell , Texas, held on the 18yh day of March
A. D. 1963, a quorum being present, on motion duly made and
carried, the following ordinance was adopted:
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Coppell, Texas, that for the calendar year of 1963, the
City of Coppell, Texas, contracts with the County
of Dallas for this City to furnish fire protection and to answer
all fire calls in the area adjoining the corporate limits of this
City, as shown on the official fire protection zone map of Dallas
County, upon the terms and conditions and for the consideration
set forth in the order of Commissioners' Court of Dallas County,
passed the 25th day of February a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
Be it further ordained that the city Secretary file with the
Cowry Fire Marshal of Dallas County, a certified copy of this
ordinance siged by the Mayor of this City.
Be it futher ordained that the City Secretary, or Chief of
the Fire Department or Secretary of the Fire Department file with
the County Fire Marshal of Dallas County, not later than the
fifth of each month a certified copy of a monthly report listing
the total number of runs made into the county for the previous
month;
Passed and approvad this the 18th day of March .

that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of an
ordinance duly passed by the City Council of the City of
Coppell, Texas on the 18th day of
March, A. D 1965, and signed by the Mayor or
said City.

The Town Council of the Town of Coppell, Texas convened on
this 18th day of March, 1963 with the following members present,
to wit:
W. T. Cozby Mayor
J. R. McDonald
C. T. Waters
L. T. Johuson Aldermen
C. F. Miller Secretary
constituting a quorum, when among other proceedings had was the
following:
Motion was made by Mr. Waters to issue a permit for
Mrs. Perkins to move a frame house into Coppell Heights Addition.
Motion was seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Johnson to relieve Albert Hodges of
his duties as Chief of Police. Mr. McDonald seconded and carried
unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Town
Council of the Town of Coppell Texas on motion duly made, second
ed and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
