Circulation continued to drop which could be partially a result of the non-resident fee. The card is activated when the resident comes to the library with a photo ID. • Programs: The library has had the Between the Lines program for teens going on this month. The Peculiar Photo Contest recently concluded and the judging for the writing contest ends on March 27. Staff is also busy planning for Summer Reading Club. The library will now have eleven full and part-time clerks and all will share shelving duties. • Budget: Budget requests have been submitted for the following- a new conceptual design for the library, a 5% increase in the materials budget, a new check-in station, a remote location kiosk service, fax capability for the public printer and a new AWE station.
