KEEP COPPELL BEAUTIFUL MEETING
June 20, 2013 Meeting Time: 7:00 p.m.

Mission: To involve individuals and businesses throughout the community to
promote education and initiatives that encourage waste reduction, litter
prevention, beautification and environmental sustainability.
Notice is hereby given that the Keep Coppell Beautiful Board will meet in regular session at
7:00 p.m., June 14, 2012, in the Conference Room at Coppell Road Service Center.
Members include: Shawn Thompson, Chair, Richard Kelly, Vice-Chair, Brandi Todd, Laura
Burnett, Noel Schaefers, Bret Saunders, Tabitha Wilson, Carmen Prince and Vin Merrill.
Student Advisors: Annie Friedman and Pooja Marella. City Liaison: Jen Ferguson. The
purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:

Item 1: Call to Order
Item 2: Consider Approval of Minutes: May 16, 2013
Item 3: Citizen’s Forum.
Citizens should sign the Citizen’s Appearance list. Pursuant to the State
Open Meetings Law, the KCB Board is restricted in discussing or taking
action on items not posted on the Agenda.
Item 4: Review Strategic Plan
Item 5: Discussion and timeline of July 3rd Fireworks participation/activities/times,
including subcommittee report
Item 6: Discussion regarding upcoming outreach activities
Item 7: Discussion regarding Waste Management recycling facility tour
Item 8: Discussion regarding Chamber of Commerce event
Item 9: Community Programs Report (written)
