CM 1965-11-29 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The City Council of the city of Coppell, Texas, convened in special meeting on the 29th day of November, 1965, with the fo!lowing members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor B. J. Harwell, Councilman C. J. Dobecka, Councilman C. T. Waters, Councilman Thomas Sisk, Councilman W. H. Wilson, Councilman E. C. Gentry, City Secretary Constituting a quorum where among the other proceedings had was the following: Mr. Cozby stated that the engineers had talked with the bidders on the south side water line and the low bidder, the Murray Co., had refused to accept the job under the time specified by the School Board. Therefore the bid submitted by the Feazell Construction Co., Arlington, Texas, was accepted and they agreed to a time limit of ten days. 000006 A motion was made by W. H. Wilson and seconded by B. J. Harwell that the pro rata rate be set at $2.00 per lineal foot on the south side water line (School Line). The motion carried unanimously. The contract with the School Board concerning the construction of the new water line was accepted and signed and the School Board presented the City with a check in the amount of $27,478.60 for nayment of the water line from city well to the new high school building. No further business being presented to the Council at this time, and upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council adjourned. PASSED AND APPROVED, this 29th day of Nov. , 1965. W. T.
