CM 1965-12-06 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, convened in regular meeting on the 6th day of December, 1965, with the following members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor W. H. Wilson, Councilman B. J. Harwell, Councilman C. T. Waters, Councilman C. J. Dobecka, Councilman Thomas Sisk, Councilman E. C. Gentry, City Secretary Constituting a quorum where among the other proceedings had was the following: Mr. Gentry informed the Council that Mrs. Rush, Tax Collector and Assessor, had received a check from Mr. Flynn for his 1964 taxes. The check, however, did not include the penalty and interest and Mrs. Rush would either accept it or return it as per the Council's wishes. A motion was made by Bill Harwell to return the check stating that the penalty and interest would also have to he paid. The motion was seconded by W. H. Wilson and carried unanimously. The following bills were approved for payment: B. E. Parker $365.00 W. T. Cozby $1.50 Keller Telephone $39.52 Peck' s $36.70 Grays Office Furniture $12.00 A. Berry $18.48 Coppell Superette $4.00 Smith Municipal Supply $40.30 Bill Decker $4.00 Willard Jordan $3.90 National Bldg. Center $6.00 Motion was made by W. H. Wilson to buy a new pressure tank for public well, 1500 gal, or like the present one. The motion was seconded by Harwell and carried unanimously. Mr. Vanbebber was to buy said tank and have it billed to the City, and could install said tank. Motion was made by Bill Harwell that the City pay Mr. DePasqual for the water line from the School to Coppell Height Add. as per agreement made with the Water District. The motion was seconded by W. H. Wilson and carried unanimously. 000007 No further business being presented to the Council at this time,, and upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council adjourned.
