CM 1966-07-05 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, convened in regular meeting on the 5th day of July, 1966, with the following members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor W. H. Wilson, Councilman Thomas Sisk, Councilman B. J. Harwell, Councilman Cecil Dobecka, CounciLman C. L. Plumlee, Jr., Councilman E. C. Gentry, City Secretary Constituting a quorum where among the other proceedings had was the following: Mr. Cozby gave a report from Mr. Clinger that the work to be done in front of City Hall, Police Station and Fire Station would run approximately $350 to the City and that the County would cooperate with Coppell in the paving of Maynard St. W. H. Wilson made a motion that the City accept this price and the motion was seconded by Bill Harwell and carried unanimously. Mr. Cozby reoorted that the United States Dept. of Agriculture stated that they would be spraying the area for fire ants within a few days. The Council studied a petition from W. O. Corbin requesting the City to annex his property. Upon a motion made by Bill Harwell and seconded by W. H. Wilson Ordinance No. 33 annexing said property was adopted. The motion carried unanimously. The Council discussed the hiring of a new Police Chief and agreed to carry this matter over until the next meeting for final action. Vanbebber $522.15 Coppell Superette . $26.57 The Council directed Mrs. Rush to secure the balance due on those who had signed for sewer connections from Mr. Gentry and for her to make a notation as to "balance on sewer tie-on fee." No further business being, .oreseuted to the Co~mcil at this time, and uoon a motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council adjourned. PASSED AND APPROVE D, this 5th day of July , 1966. W. T.
