CF-EL Notice of Election 2007-11-06NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION Coppell, Texas NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Election will be held on the 6th day of November 2007, in the above-named City for the purpose of submitting to the voters the following Propositions: Proposition 1   FOR (_____) Shall the City of Coppell adopt a one-fourth of one percent sales and use tax to provide revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets in the City of Coppell?   AGAINST (_____)          Proposition 2   FOR (_____) Shall the City of Coppell create a Crime Control and Prevention District and adopt a one-fourth of one percent sales and use tax for crime reduction programs?   AGAINST (_____)    The polling place for those voters residing in Dallas County for said election shall be at Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas, 75019. The polling place for those voters residing in Denton County for said election shall be at Memorial Park Recreation Center, 1950B South Valley Parkway, Lewisville, Texas, 75067. The polls shall be open from 7:00 o’clock a.m. to 7:00 o’clock p.m. None but legally qualified voters of the City shall be entitled to vote at said election. The period for early voting by personal appearance shall begin on October 22, 2007 and continue through November 2, 2007. The main early voting polling place for Dallas County residents shall be the Coppell Town Center, where early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted in accordance with the following schedule: Monday, October 22, 2007 — Friday, October 26, 2007 from 8:00a — 5:00p Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 8:00a - 5:00p Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 1:00p — 6:00p Monday, October 29, 2007 — Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 8:00a — 5:00p Thursday, November 1, 2007 — Friday, November 2, 2007 from 7:00a — 7:00p Dallas County residents may also vote at any other Dallas County Early Voting Polling Location.
