OR 92-560 Unit fee to provide funds for Parks & Recreational Facilities AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPFLL, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 92560 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 185 KNOWN AS T~R SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, BY AMENDING SECTION 5.08, PARAGRAPH 3, SUBPARAGRAPH (b), ENTITLED "PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES'; ESTABLISHING A PRO RATA ~NIT FEE TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS= SECTION 1. AMENDING ORDINANCE 185 (SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE). That Ordinance No. 185, the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Coppell, heretofore passed by the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, is hereby amended by amending Section 5.08 Paragraph 3, Subparagraph (b) of said ordinance to read as follows: "5.08 Park and Recreational Facilities. b. Upon submission and approval by the City Council, the Subdivider or Developer shall be required to pay a cash payment to the City of Coppell for acquisition or development of park sites. The cash payment shall be in the sum of $ jd'D,~ per platted lot, if accepted by the City Council. The size and type of these park facilities shall be determined by the City Council in accordance with standards as set forth herein and with the established designs criteria. Each Townhouse or Multi-family unit shall pay $ J~O .~a for each unit. SECTION 2. REPEALING CLAUSE All parts of ordinance 185-A-2 inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after the publication of its caption as the law in such cases provides.
