OR 2000-903 Prohibits parking on the East & West sides of Town Center Blvd. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 2000903 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE 8-3 PARKING, SECTION 8-3-1(A), BY AMENDING SUBSECTION 25 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDES ON A PORTION OF TOWN CENTER BOULEVARD; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) PER OFFENSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS; SECTION 1. That Article 8-3, Section 8-3 - 1 (A) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Coppell, Texas is hereby amended by amending subsection 25 to read as follows: "25. TOWN CENTER BOULEVARD on the east and west side from its intersection with Town Center Drive to a point south six hundred twenty- one feet (621 ') at all times. SECTION 2. That all provisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Coppell, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this ordinance, or of the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of said ordinance or the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 4. That any person, finn or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance or of the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, shall be deemed guilty of a 1 30654 misdemeanor and, upon conviction in the municipal court of the City of Coppell, Texas, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed the sum of two htmdred dollars ($200.00) for each offense, and each and every day said violation is continued shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage as the law and charter in such cases provide.
