RE 12-14-99.7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS RESOLUTON NO. 121499.7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, AMENDING, IN PART, THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, previously adopted Resolution No. 010996.3 to provide for general and special fees and charges to be assessed and collected by the City, as authorized by the Code of Ordinances and other applicable codes, ordinances, resolutions, and laws; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell desires to amend certain fees as set forth therein and to add others as authorized by law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Section 9-20 of the Master Fee Schedule be amended as follows: "See. 9-20 A. Application for Telecommunication Fee and license, Franchise Fee and/or E911 Service $1,000.00 B. Monthly Municipal Consent Fee: $ 0.60 per linear foot" SECTION 2. That Section 10-9-1 of the Master Fee Schedule be amended as follows: "See. 10-9-1 Variance application fee $ 150.00" SECTION 3. That the title "GENERAL FEES" be added to the section pertaining to general and special fees and charges which shall read as follows: "GENERAL FEES: The following are general and special fees and charges established by other ordinances, codes, resolutions or by this resolution which are not specifically amendments to the Coppell City Code." SECTION 4. That number 6 under the section pertaining to "Engineering Fees" be amended as follows: "Engineering Fees 6. Street Light Fee $ 293.40" SECTION 5. That number 8, "Copy Fees", Subsection S be amended as follows: "... 8. Copy Fees: S. Computer information on diskette/CD $ 28.00" SECTION 6. That "Other Fees" be amended by amending number 1 and adding number 6 to read as follow: "Other Fees 1. Insufficient Funds Fee $ 25.00 6. Tax Certificates $ 10.00" SECTION 7. That Subsection 5, "Leisure Services Department Programs" be amended by adding "A" before the title and adding "B" providing for the "Aquatic/Recreation Center" fees and charges, as follows: "5. A. Leisure Services Department Programs: Adult Softball Fee for each program is to be In-Line Hockey determined based on actual Summer Camp cost to provide the program. Summer Day Camp Saturday Night Out B. Aquatic/Recreation Center: General Admission Resident Non-resident Under 3 yrs. No Charge No Charge 3 yrs. - 54 yrs. $ 3.00 $ 6.00 Senior Citizen (55 yrs. & over) $ 2.00 $ 6.00 2 Summer Swim Punch Passes - 20 Visits (Covers admission to pools only) Resident Non-Resident Youth/Adult (3 yrs.-54 yrs.) $ 40.00 $ 80.00 Senior Citizen (55 yrs. & over) $ 30.00 Annual Passes *Individual $ 210.00 $ 420.00 **Family $ 420.00 $ 840.00 Sr. Citizen Indiv. $120.00 N/A Sr. Citizen Faro. $ 240.00 N/A * Early Discount will be $180 until May 1 st 2000 ** Early Discount will be $360 until May 1 st 2000" SECTION 8. That nothing in this Resolution is intended to be, nor should it be construed as, a waiver of any other provisions of the Texas Public Information Act or any other law, and the City expressly reserves any and all rights and remedies available to it under the Texas Public Information Act or otherwise at law. SECTION 9. That all provisions of the resolutions of the City of Coppell, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution, except as noted herein, be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 10. That shotrid any word, phrase, paragraph, or section of this Resolution be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of this Resolution as a whole, or any part or provision thereof other than the part so decided to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, and shall not affect the validity of the Resolution as a whole. SECTION 11. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage as the law and charter in such cases provide.
