A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COPPELL, TEXAS, APPROVING THE USE OF PROPERTY IN
WAGON WHEEL PARK FOR EXPANSION OF FREEPORT
PARKWAY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City desires to expand Freeport Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby approves the use of the property described
in Exhibit "A, B, C and D", which is attached and incorporated herein, for the expansion
of Freeport Parkway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the City hereby
attached hereto and incorporated herein as

Being a 0.436 of an acre tract of land situated within the Jesse Moore Survey, Abstract
No. 968, and being a portion of a tract of land described to the City of Coppell by deed
recorded in Volume 98135, Page 5682, Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, and
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point for the northeast corner of said City tract, from which a 112 inch
capped iron rod stamped "Brittain & Crawford" found on the east line of a tract of land
described to the City of Coppell by deed recorded in Volume 96164, Page 169 of said
Deed Records, bears North 00001'55" West, 495.35 feet, same being on the west
right-of-way line of Freeport Parkway (a variable width right-of-way);
THENCE South 00°12'03" West,'with said west right-of-way line, a distance of 825.84
feet to a point for the southeast corner of said City tract;
THENCE South 88041'22" West, with the south line of same, a distance of 20.21 feet
to a 5/8 inch capped iron rod stamped "TNP" set for corner;
THENCE North 00°10'56" East, over and across said City tract, a distance of 400.55
feet to a 518 inch capped iron rod stamped "TNP" set for the beginning of a curve to
the left, having a radius of 3,945.00 feet, and a chord that bears North 00047'49" West,
134.86 feet;
THENCE along said curve to the left, an arc length of 134.87 feet to a 518 inch capped
iron rod stamped "TNP" set for corner;
THENCE North 01 °46'35" West, continuing over and across same a distance of 290.34
feet to a 518 inch capped iron rod stamped "TNP" set for corner on the north line of
said City tract;
THENCE North 88°46'06" East with said north line, a distance of 32.71 feet to the
