Notice is hereby given that the Coppell Recreation Corporation of the City of Coppell, Texas,
will meet in the Council Chambers at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be
convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice
from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
Item 1 Call To Order
Item 2 Citizen's Forum. Citizen's should complete a citizen's appearance form. Pursuant to
the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on
the items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statement can only be taken at
future meetings.
Item 3 PUBLIC HEARING:
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment regarding
these proposed projects: expansion and renovation of the public library,
construction of various segments of hike and bike trails, redevelopment
of the Andrew Brown Park System, construction of streetscape, median,
and drainage improvements, construction of Life Safety Park,
installation of artificial turf and other improvements at Coppell Middle
School North, and the related expenditure of funds for the related
planning, operation, maintenance, and management of construction for
the above mentioned projects.
