As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda -item listed herein. The City of Coppell reserves the right to reconvene, recess or realign the Work Session or called Executive Session or order of business at any time prior to adjournment. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following items: 1. Call to Order 2. Work Session (Open to the Public) 1st Floor Conference Room A. Presentation of traffic operations on Denton Tap Road. B. Presentation and discussion regarding the Angel of Hope Garden at the Rolling Oaks Memorial Center. C. Discussion regarding the 2012 International Building Codes. D. Discussion of Agenda Items. Regular Session 4. Invocation 7:30 p.m. 5. Pledge of Allegiance 6. Consider approval of a proclamation naming July 22, 2014 as, "Debbie Cravey Appreciation Day," and authorizing the Mayor to sign. 7. Citizens' Appearance 8. Consent Agenda A. Consider approval of minutes: July 8, 2014 B. Consider approval of an ordinance amending Article 8 -3, Parking, Section 8- 3 -1(A) of the Code of Ordinances by adding a subsection to make it unlawful to stop, stand, or park a vehicle at all times on a portion of Peninsula Drive; and authorizing the Mayor to sign any necessary documents. C. Consider approval of a License Agreement with the Village at Cottonwood Creek 6 Homeowners Association to allow the use of decorative street and regulatory signs within the City's right of way; at the intersections of Parkway Blvd and Buttonwood, Hampton, Gifford, and Graham; and authorizing the City Manager to sign any necessary documents. D. Consider approval of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute the appropriate funding to the Community Development Block Grant Funds Agreement with Dallas County, Texas, for fiscal years 2015, 2016 and 2017. Consider approval to purchase Cisco Network Switches on DI Contract # DIR -SDD -1388 from Flair Data Systems in the amount of $141,374.70 and authorize the City Manager to sign. Page 2 of 3 10. Consider approval of an agreement with Allied Waste Services of Fort Worth, LLC a Republic Services Company (Republic Services), to provide Waste, Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Collection and providing a termination of services notice to both Waste Management of Texas, Inc. (Waste Management) and WM At Your Door Special Collection; and authorizing the City Manager to sign any necessary documents. 11. Consider approval of Bid No. 0614 -02 from Boyd Construction Services, LLC in the amount of $137,909.03, to construct a memorial garden in the Rolling Oaks Memorial Center cemetery, and authorizing the City Manager to sign the necessary documents 12.
