RE 2015-0224.1RESOLUTION NO. 20150224.1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 010996.3, THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING THE ROLLING OAKS MEMORIAL CENTER FEES, IN PART; AND PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, previously adopted Resolution No. 010996.3 to provide for general and special fees and charges to be assessed and collected by the City, as authorized by the Code of Ordinances and other applicable codes, ordinances, resolutions, and laws; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell desires to amend certain fees as set forth therein and delete others as authorized by law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Master Fee Schedule section entitled "Rolling Oaks Memorial Center Fees" be amended, in part to read as follows: 1) Gardens* Infant Burial Spaces Resident Infant Burial Spaces 2) Niches* 3) Mausoleum Fees* Pricing per Space $1,095.00 - $1,895.00 $500.00 $ 0.00 $1,995.00 - $2,695.00 Market Price *Residents receive a 20% discount. The Resident discount applies to current residents of the City of Coppell, former residents who resided in the City of Coppell for ten (10) years or more, employees and former employees of the City with ten (10) years of service or more to the City. If required, proof of residency is the responsibility of the Purchaser. 4) Fees for products and services (such as: spaces, niches, mausoleums, memorials, urns, opening and closings, foundation fees, inscription fees, installation fees) will be determined based on actual cost to provide and/or special circumstances. The specific cost of said products and services are variable costs that could fluctuate year over year. The determination of fees for these specific products and services will be determined by the Director of Parks and Recreation. SECTION 2. That all provisions of the resolutions of the City of Coppell, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution, except as noted herein, be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That should any word, phrase, paragraph, or section of this Resolution be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of this Resolution as a whole, or any part or provision thereof other than the part so decided to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, and shall not affect the validity of the Resolution as a whole. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage as the law and charter in such cases provide.
