Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas will meet in
Special Called Session at 8:00 a.m. for the purpose of Canvassing the Returns and
Declaring the Results of the Special Election held on November 3, 2015, the meeting
will begin at 8:00 a.m., to be held at Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell,
Texas.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may
be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential
legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The City of Coppell reserves the right to reconvene or recess at any time prior to
adjournment.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following items:
Call to Order
Mayor Hunt called the meeting to order and confirmed the necessary quorum
at 8:00 a.m. on November 16, 2015.

1. Consider approval of a Resolution canvassing the returns and
�•• declaring the results of the Special Election held on November 3,
2015.
Mayor Hunt read the proposed Resolution in its entirety.

A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Gary Roden, seconded by
Councilmember Marvin Franklin, to approve the Resolution. The vote on the
motion passed by a unanimous vote.
