LIBRARY BOARD MINUTES
December 8, 2016
The Cozby Library and Community Commons Advisory Board met in regular session on Thursday,
December 8, 2016 in the Conference Room of the library.
1. CALL TO. ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Janet Koester at 6:03 p.m.
Other board members present were Karla Tabor, Pat Nicks, Adrienne Morton, Thomas Dwyer, and
Mahesh Guduru. Staff in attendance were Library Director Vicki Chiavetta, Assistant Director Jane
Darling and Sr. Administrative Technician Kim McGrath.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER REGULAR BOARD MEETING:
Pat Nicks moved to approve the minutes and Tom Dwyer seconded the motion. All were in favor
and the minutes were approved.
3. CITIZEN'S APPEARANCES: None
4. MEETING ROOM GUIDELINES: Vicki Chiavetta went over the changes made to the
Meeting Room guidelines. Discussion followed.
5. OTHER RESERVABLE ROOM GUIDELINES: Vicki went over the guidelines for the
additional new rooms which may be reserved by the public. It was decided to allow the rooms to be
reserved in one-hour blocks of time with a maximum of three hours by the same person or group. Tom
Dwyer moved to approve both documents pending changes and Pat Nicks seconded. All were in favor
and the motion was carried.
ADJOURNMENT: Chairman, Janet Koester adjourned the meeting at 6:24 p.m.
