Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas will meet in Regular
Called Session at 5:30 p.m. for Executive Session, Work Session will follow immediately
thereafter, and Regular Session will begin at 7:30 p.m., to be held at Town Center, 255 E.
Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be
convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice
from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The City of Coppell reserves the right to reconvene, recess or realign the Work Session or
called Executive Session or order of business at any time prior to adjournment.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following items:

A. Consider approval of the minutes: July 10, 2018.
B. Consider approval of a Resolution approving a Tax Abatement Agreement
between the City of Coppell and Peak Nano Optics, LLC, and authorizing
the Mayor to sign.
C. Consider approval of an Economic Development Agreement by and
between the City of Coppell and Peak Nano Optics, LLC, and authorizing
the Mayor to sign.
D. Consider approval of a three-year Enterprise License Agreement for
Adobe Acrobat per TIPS/TAPS Contract Number 3071615 to CDWG;
subject to the approval as to form of the City Attorney; as budgeted in the
amount of $58,725.00 per year for a total of $176,175.00; and authorizing
the City Manager to sign.
E. Consider approval of the architectural design and engineering services,
service request number 3, within the approved professional services
agreement with Corgan Associates, Inc.; totaling $156,500 for the Coppell

Arts Center theater seating expansion; and authorizing the City Manager to
sign.

10. Consider approval of an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of
Combination Tax and Limited Surplus Revenue Certificates of Obligations
in the maximum amount of $46,165,000 for street projects, public safety
facilities for the fire department, expansion of the City -owned cemetery, a
performing arts center, and water and sewer projects, and authorizing the
Mayor to sign.
11. Consider approval of a Resolution approving and authorizing the execution
and delivery of a Project Agreement with the Coppell Recreation
Development Corporation; approving the expenditure of funds by the
Corporation in connection therewith; and containing other provisions
related thereto and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
