Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas
together with the Coppell Independent School District School Board, will
meet for dinner scheduled for 6:30 p.m., in the Coppell Middle School
Cafeteria, and immediately following will meet in the Coppell Middle School
Library for a special called work session on Monday, June 17, 1989 in the
Coppell Middle School, 400 Mockingbird Lane, Coppell, TX. The purpose of
the meeting is to consider the following items:

1 Invocation (Open to the public)
2 Pledge of Allegiance
3 Status report on recycling program presented by Texas Waste Management.
4 Status report on tennis center presented by high school architect.
5 Status report on Texas A&M Project presented by Dr. Bill Stearman - CISD.
6 Status report on Parkway Boulevard and the high school access road - CISD.
7 Discussion and consideration of appointing a Joint committee to study the
needs and uses of a natatorium/swimming pool - requested by City Councilman
Robertson.
8 Discussion and consideration of development of additional athletic fields
and facilities - requested by Park Board Chairman Ed Reeves.
9 Discussion and consideration of creating a recreation program/center -
requested by School Board Member Mike Clements.
10 Discussion and consideration of improving city/school communications -
requested by City Councilman Nelson.
11 Determination of dates to hold future Joint meetings.
12 Discussion of creating a policy to establish procedures implementing
school zones and crossing guards.
