Parkway Boulevard. Also present were Parks and Recreation Director Brad Reid and Administrative Support Supervisor Cecilia Gandara. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the following items: Regular Session (Open to the Public) 1. Call To Order Vice Chair Guignon called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Members present: Ed Guignon, Maureen Corcoran, Lisa Dunham, Janet Maccubbin, Earl Nesbitt, Nick Paschal, and Sashank Kolhamasu 2. Citizens' Forum: Citizen's should complete a Citizen's Appearance Form. Pursuant to the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future meetings. Introductions Boardmembers and the Parks and Recreation employees gave their introductions. 4. Election of Officers A motion was made by Boartlmember Corcoran to nominate Jack Clark as Chair and Ed Guignon as Vice Chair, seconded by Boartlmember Dunham, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. Aye: 6 - Ed Guignon, Maureen Corcoran, Lisa Dunham, Janet Maccubbin, Earl Nesbitt, and Nick Paschal 5. Update by the Coppell Baseball Association Ravi Malick, President of the Copell Baseball Association, gave an update on current activities and registration numbers. 6. Consider approval of minutes: December 5, 2016 A motion was made by Boartlmember Dunham, seconded by Boartlmember Maccubbin, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. Aye: 6 - Ed Guignon, Maureen Corcoran, Lisa Dunham, Janet Ma=bbm, Ead Nesbitt, and Nick Paschal 7. Presentation and discussion regarding proposed changes to the Parks and Recreation Ordinance. Lloyd Mauch, Parks Operations Manager, presented the proposed changes to the Parks and Recreation Ordinance. 9. Consider approval of revisions to the Code or Ordinance Chapter 9, Article 9-11, Section 9-11-3 through 9-11-12. A motion was made by Alternate Nesbitt, seconded by Boartlmember Maccubbin, that this agenda item be approved with the addition of the word Adult to section 9-11-7 G. Update and discussion regarding the Project Priority List Director Brad Reid asked the Boerdmembers to review the Protect Priority List and discussed funding for future projects. 10. Andrew Brown West `. is expected to start wrapping up within the next month. 11. Youth Advisor's Report Youth Advisor Sashank Kothamasu, reported that his goal is to continue working to have a Half and Diwali event in the City of Coppell. 12. Chair Report A.
